I was thinking this I bought mine from an outlet and it will have been hanging in the wardrobe over a year so will probably want cleaning although it's in a bag
    I'm also in Essex x

yeah the underneath of the dress is quite dirty and there are a few marks on the back of the dress, i am going to take it to my local dry cleaner on monday and see if they can do anything with it. I was a bit worried about sending it to a company as most of them have good reviews and some really bad reviews as i have put my other dress up for sale now. Fingers crossed my local dry cleaners can do something with it. will keep you updated.
    Thanks ladies x

My dress was a sample dress. The lady who owns the boutique got my dress cleaned for me and then after the wedding has recommended one of the dry cleaners on our high street. I live in Epping. Where in Essex are you?

Near Lakeside? That's about a 30 minute drive from me (well that's how long it takes me to drive to Lakeside from Epping).

    Is that too far?

Might be worth asking at a wedding dress shop if they do it. Mine cleaned mine afterwards. Not sure if I got a deal though as they knew me, but I only paid £60, would have cost me anything up to £200 at a cleaners I enquired with.

my dry cleaners charge £100 for wedding dresses but it depends on the type of dress, loads of layers = more cash.

I would just call round and see who can do it for the best price, then do a review search. They may be cheaper for a reason

Mrs S, mine came back lovely. I had a red mark in the inside from a bit of confetti which had fallen inside, that has gone and mine was £60 as well.
