A friend of mine is doing our wedding invites & evening invites for us and she told me yest she has started on them, she is making it on white card with black font & purple detailing, i cant wait to see them! am getting impatiant lol

I made mine and every one I done ended up looking different to the last one but they are just what I wanted. I sat and done 45 of them because I was too inpatient to see the result of them all

I will do, i'm going to get her to send me a mock up one & plus its gonna be nice cause the invites will be from the kids rather then parents as h2b's mom died when i was pregnant so it saves anyone falling out with each other really

That's a wicked idea. I saw some invites on a website saying "mummy and daddy are getting married" I loved them, think there brilliant.
Me and my OH have been discussing this recently, my parents will be "hosting" the wedding but his mum's really helped out financially too and I wanted to have her name in the invite as well but OH's dad died when he was 16 and his mum is now married to a woman.. Steve don't think of her as a step mum or anything like that and doesn't want her name in the invite but I don't want her to be upset by not putting her in :-/

i remember when my bil got married & fil2b's wife at the time insisted that she HAD to be at the top table to fill in mil's place, well that set sil & bil off (couldnt blame them tbh!) so in the end they just had bm's. fg & bm on the top table with them
