Found a lady on book of face who was selling ( daddy here comes mummy) and thank you boards. Which I thought were abit expensive but still looked into. Then looked of 3bay and found what I can only guess is her supplier as was alot cheaper and exact same things. But problem is he can't change them to what I want I.e colour, size and that. And I can't find them anywhere. Whenever I search either I get nowt or get sent back to him. And so frustrated. Anyone know any good places to look, I really like them but wang them abit different to what I can find. Are the wooden boards that u make look vintage and with writing on cheap and easy to make? Just getting so frustrated with not being able to find what I want anywhere :( and not just with these bits with everything x

    Hi Emma-Louise

Have you tried Et5y? They have lots of the sign boards on there (as well as lots of other lovely wedding things!) and most are quite reasonably priced (would try and find a UK seller for P&P) xx

I got a here comes the bride board from the bay. They made it to the wording I wanted and the colours,

Only probs with et5y is that you may have to pay custom charges, I just got a necklace from them and I have to pay a other £15 custom charge for it.

Nor did I, until the card came through the door saying I had to pay it, and it was the only thing I could think of that I have ordered from abroad. It's a wonderful piece of jewellery though

I've messaged on your wall, I've looked at who I think it is I got mine from and they don't have anything for sale at present, I've given you her user name though.

are the custom charges expensive, Glitterfairy? Does it go on the price/weight of the item? xx

I think it is the price you pay for the item. I have to pay £15 for that necklace, it was about £40. I also paid £40 for custom charges on my bridesmaid dresses.

emma-louise... im making my own boards up. get down to a DIY store, we're going to cut some plywood to size and then spray with the blackboard paint. the paint cost us £5 for 2 cans off of fleabay, and we've brought the plywood before, it was about £4 for a 1m x 1.5m board - im pretty sure the larger "you can do it" diy shops will cut to size for you if you ask nicely!

    hope it works

    k

p.s. ive not sprayed mine yet... i figure if it doesnt work then i will buy some big cheapo photo frames and spray them instead!
