im having a candy buffet making my own as the one i like would have been about £500 inc travel way to expensive didn't want the ones with the really tall vases as lots of kids at my wedding so would be scared they would tip them over I'm having something like this just stared to collect the little glass and silver bowls so will look mismatched and vintage i hope.

My h2b is making our own sweetie buffet and we looked at making sweetie trees. Think its the part of the wedding he is most excited about! I think they are a fab alternative to favours. x
Now a Mrs!

will they keep that long i suppose if they are tightly wrapped they will xx

We're making ours 2-3 weeks earlier, wrapping in clingfilm for air tightness then in foil to keep them from fading in the sunlight - did a test one with allsorts on with 2 weeks and they tasted fine - you might want to do a test run with marshmallows though in case they go crispy?

ok thanks i think all the other sweets will be ok but marshmellows tend to go hard after a day or so but i will do a mock tree and see how long it lasts xx

Hi, im also making my own sweet trees! We are having marshmallows as they match our pink theme. I made a practice one and wrapped it up in clingfilm, after 7days it was still perfectly ok. I was planning to make them no earlier than a week before the wedding so after a week I than accidentally ate my prctice one =/ Haha xx So i am not sure if they will be ok any longer than a week old x
