i was just wondering what happens? do you have a few companies come round and have tasting sessions and then decide? what do you say to the companies when you have finished, "we will be in touch" ?

thats the whole point though, just tell them you have a couple of others to see and will get back to them within a week and theyll probably offer you a brilliant price x

I know, I thought the same but assumed it was just another wedding related ploy to get you signed up first! We're off to a wedding fair on Sunday and at least 2 of the companies we've looked at will be there so we'll try some cake (or H2B will) and go from there... I love cake but it's strictly banned for now! x

Well, we tried ours at the secc, and decided to go with her, and to have a tasting session (of all her flavours- as she had only got two on show at the secc) at a later date. I then booked her and paid the £50 deposit.
4 days later i won a comp. from my venue , which paid £250 towards my cake from a different place, luckily the original woman gave us our deposit back and we put that on the new cake as it was £300, for the one we are having.
Unfortunately i still dont know what their cake tastes like :S
