I'm not sure if I've used the right category for this but here goes anyway!
We went to visit our reception venue on Saturday with my Mum, Stepdad and Sister, so they could have a look and we could work out how much bunting we will need to make. Our original plan was to borrow some from my Sister and make the rest. I also suggested making some 'just married' bunting. My Sister's bunting is pastel and floral and she doesn't think it will work with our 1940s railway theme (it's a goods shed at a railway museum). She has suggested going for something more plain and bold that matches our colour scheme and is easier to add letters to.
Our colour scheme is teal and grey. I've just done an internet search and typically everything is coming up floral when searching '1940s bunting' :o/ The teal is quite blue. Does anybody have any suggestions for any colours that we could use for bunting that would go with it?

I'd use any as long as teal and grey were more predominant....I'll find my friends bunting from her wedding in a barn, it was multicoloured but lush!

I have a couple of ideas here for you.
This one is patterned but you can see how the colours blend.

This is just showing how yellow can blend nicely with it as well.
My Mum has been posting a few ideas on P1nt3r3st aswell so hopefully we can come up with something!

I'm liking teal and grey, think these colours would be great for the 1940s theme.

Hi, our colour scheme was teal and grey - our bunting was quite subtle in colour/style. If you like it, I've got plenty spare and other items in my album that might fit your colour scheme.
