My h2b came home from nite shift this morning and told me he loved me and made me breakfast in bed... Then he started to talk about the wedding venue.. he said i know the dress you want is your dream dress but it's very expensive (£1600)... i said i know that which is y i've been looking for a cheaper option... he said u know that money would pay for the hall and the food for the reception... i know i said.. i'm trying to get someone who can make the one i want cheaper... then i told him sure i'm paying for my dress myself... then he turned around to me and said you know u havn't bought anything yet and already ur turning into a bridezilla!!1 does anyone else agree?

i'd give him a taste of bridezilla! david never gets that, he thinks if i spend more on one thing, he thinks i do it with everything but he doesnt realise i have saved loads on other stuff! i try and point out how much people are spending on things on here and he realises that i'm doing things cheap! xxx

i have all my table decorations and top table flowers for £250, The cheaper version of my dress is around £350 max, the chapel is £70, cars FREE mums paying for them, FREE cake aunt is making that, DJ £200 cousin, 1 hr drag show FREE (uncle).. lol Hotel and Food £1300, so far so good i thot...
Your saving loads everywhere else hun so a little extravagance on the dress couldn't hurt... could it? ;o) lol

Haha! you know theres that programme on wedding tv on sky its called bridezilla, sit him in front of that for an episode show him what a real bridezilla is! ive just started planning weddings its what i want to do for living and its just been for family so far but i tell you what my sis in law is the loveliest person in the world and she was sooooo scary!

We were talking the other nite and he actually got excited about calling me Mrs Miller... lol i think it is only starting to register with him about the wedding.. he says he is looking forward to it but it's to early for him to do much coz there isn't really anything for him to do... lol..

I would ask him how he would feel if he found a suit for the wedding that he loved and you asked him not to get it.... Your dress is one of the most important aspects of the day and you need to be happy with your choice. If you are willing to pay for it yourself then i dont see why he can have an issue with it. I would go for it as its your money babe. x x

You're hardly what I'd call a 'Bridezilla' You've done so well on your budgeting and if you're paying for the dress yourself then I don't see what he's complaining about. lol men don't seem to realise that this is the most important dress we'll EVER wear. But if he wants to see what a real Bridezilla is then i will more than happily direct him to the bridal forum I refuse to use anymore - now they ARE Bridezillas lol
