My mum, MIL and FIL will definitely cry.. my dad I'm not sure about. He doesn't tend to wear his heart on his sleeve, but if his only daughter getting married doesn't bring a tear to his eye then I'm not sure what will haha! I reckon I will start crying when I'm waiting with my dad ready to walk down the aisle and then I won't be able to stop when I see OH (probably crying haha).
One of my bridesmaids is super emotional so she will probably start crying as soon as she sees me in my dress! Think we might need some tissues...

Neither of us cried at the proposal haha! I was too shocked and couldn't stop hugging him and he wasn't even sure I'd said yes because I said it so fast haha, so he was wondering what I'd said x

I didn't cry even though I was majorly surprised.... OHs bottom lip wobbled and he got very emotional whilst getting down on one knee xx

Gemma, I think one of the programmes Flossie used was 1nD3sign.... It's an ad0b3 desktop publishing programme. Our designers at work use it. X

I was the same, I always love strapless and princess style dresses and only liked a few laces ones, then when I tried on a strapless dress it didn't suit me at all lol x

I wanted to try on the dresses like above but they didn't suit me, I thought I didn't want strapless but I suited strapless and I always wanted fitted which I got! I tried on the princess dress and I looked silly it just hid me I had no shape and looked drowned xx

I'm a newbie, thought I should check in on the 2016 page :-)
My Fiance proposed on Christmas Eve last year, and I came close to crying but didn't, just went a bit hyper with excitement and couldn't stop smiling as I never thought he would ask! My future mother-in-law to be kept topping up my glass of prosecco all night so I woke up on Christmas day with a hangover!
We will be getting married on the 28th May 2016, one year from today! And so far we have the Church, Venue, Catering and Photographer booked and deposits paid where necessary. I bought my dress a couple of weeks ago and it is completely different to what I thought I wanted, it is currently safely hidden in my parents house. And I have been collecting jars and vintage bottles for the past few weeks which I plan on using as centrepieces on top of thin slices of tree trunk as we had to have a tree chopped down in our garden and I thought we could put it to good use that way (hope that makes sense). The venue is an old thatched barn so I'm going for a rustic, DIY theme to fit in with the surroundings and to also keep the costs down.
It's all really exciting! Is there anyone else with the same day?

Okay, thank you flossie I'm going to have a play tonight. Danielle I thought I'm not creative enough to make my own especially because I like the pocket fold style. But I found a website and have received a sample with all inserts needed and they're really good quality so it's changed my mind and they don't seem that bad the print on, plus they do actually print if you want them to then you can just decorate x

We have done: Cake - Organised (friend doing it) Photographer (Uncle doing it!!) Invitations & Favours (Hand-making) Bridesmaids Dresses all done Wedding dress, veil and headpiece all done Rings all done Venue, drinks and food all booked & deposit paid Wedding shoes bought Church booked Flowers sorted (nan is paying for them).
We got our Venue at Windsor Hotel in Worthing, booked in February, the price of £3,500 includes our room for the night, unlimited buffet for 120 people, reception drinks and toasting drinks, huge martini glasses as centerpiece, cake stand and knife, bows and ribbons and all decoration for the room, also includes free storage for us to put everything there a couple of days before!!
My nan is really good at making cards so she's doing favour boxes and all the stationery whilst my friends mum is doing the wedding postbox, little charms to go around the bottom of every glass for people to take home, my friend is doing the cake as she is amazing! And she's sorting hen do and accomm and pamper day for everyone!! Im a little bored as i've done everything until december, just working on making the flowergirl dresses. We're so blessed to have people who can help us out.
All we have left to do are groom/best man/pageboy suits and shoes, plus bridesmaids shoes and hair and that's it!! DJ is a working progress ... but I have 351 days left !! xx

I bought 2 of mine from L1ttl3 M1str3ss and the other 2 from the bay from China which are absolutely fab! They were £35 each and amazing quality - they are probably even better quality than the UK ones to be honest and they were half the price. I got them from the seller 'lovestoryuk'. The blue and lilac dresses are the China ones:
