    hi girls

as some of u know my big day is not until 2016 but one thing I am very worried about is blushing, I blush at the least little thing and has been something that has bothered me for years but I am so worried that I will be walking down in my lovely dress and everything beautiful and then a huge red face :( just wondering if anyone has any hints or tips on how to prevent this :) xxx

With all the makeup you're likely to wear if you are done up like most brides if you do blush it won't be seen x

Make up itself won't mask blushing. You can always add a green concealer. Also if blushing is a regular issue, you can always speak to your GP. There's various things they can try, one being cognitive behaviour therapy. Medications such as SSRI's are also sometimes prescribed.

I was also worried about this and patching for my wedding day as I blush and also my chest and neck go all red and blotchy when I get nervous anxious or upset, anyway make up hid my face blushing pretty well but in pics signing marriage certificate my chest is bright res blotches because I was so nervous so I would recommend also taking the make up further onto your neck and chest if this also happens to you I didn't because I was worried it would cake my dress neckline but in pics of signing I look like I have some weird disease ,thankfully rest of pics are gorgeous and I stopped blushing and blotching once I had married the love of my life and got the ceremony over and done with :)
But anyway don't worry because all it will show in pics is how you showed emotion on the biggest day of your life xx

Ahh, I hadnt even thought of this. I am the same Victoria, red blotchy neck/chest.. although my dress is lace up to my collar bone so may be ok!

Maybe ask the person doing your makeup if they have any experience of what can be used to stop blushing showing through too much?

I blush too, I wouldn't worry too much, make up will hide the worst of it.
Besides, aren't we supposed to be "Blushing Brides"?

My OH thinks it's cute and calls me his blushing princess.

Was thinking of getting a professional make up artist...or black and white photos x

I get anxious a lot, which leads to me blushing. Green concealer actually works a charm!
