    I was chatting to my dad today about my wedding and the diet I've been on for the wedding. Basically I dont care what anyone else looks like, I just need to be slim for my big day. After chatting for a while, my dad tells me he too is going on a diet so he can look smart for me for my big day! I was so touched as I know he's really self conscious about his weight that I just thought I'd share... obviously I told him if he wants to lose weight then do it for himself not me, I just thought it was such a nice thing to say!

    I thought it was lovely, he never ever talks about his weight, he said he wants me to be proud but I couldnt have been prouder than when he said that today. No qualms about the outfit I'd like him to wear either which was nice as I know the thought of going for suit fittings etc makes him feel uncomfortable.... aww he's a wee soul! x

    Arr thats sweet. And good for him too. My dad has, wouldn't say gone on a diet but has change some of his eating habits. He's starting to lose weight and realy pleased for him. He's not doing it for my wedding, but for him self and the grandkids too as he want to watch then grow up. xx
