Hey I'm trying to find places that aren't charging a fortune for my wedding. I'm lookin for places that are cheapish but yet good quality and recommended. I need somewhere that will do invitations, table place cards, name cards for each table, and the table seating design.
If anyone can recommend somewhere I'd be very grateful =) xx

Agree with Tatty, there are sellers on the bay who do lovely stationary... But tbh the only places you'll probably get that for really cheap is v.print (under £100) or doing it all yourself... I got all my invites (day and night) RSVP's, StD's and OOS for £65 and they're gorgeous.. I got quotes from a wedding stationary places and it was between £200 and £400 for all of that, and that was basic stationary, not the fancy pocket invites etc..
All of our table names, place cards, table plan is included in our venue price else I'd have done those on v.print or myself..

I'm making my brothers wedding invites for £15.. Thats 60 invites..(He's not having a sit down meal so no need for the table stationary..)
Obviously doing the table names etc will be more, but you see where I'm coming from in the money area seeing as most wedding stationary people will charge about £70 for 60 invites.. xxx xxx

I made my own invitations and, except postage, it cost me under £30 to make 40 invitations, plus spare invitations and left over material which I will use for place names, favours, menus etc. I'm not creative like that yet most people have said how professional they look. Plus it's more personal.

I am making my own and need to make 90(ish) invites, 78 place cards, the favour bags, table decs (10), 6 sweet trees, post box and table planner. Think its cost me around £130ish? for everything I have needed from getting everything from The Bay, Am@Z0n and another site that I keep posting the link for on everyone's profile lol!

Have put details of a site on your wall, it does free templates for invitations with matching RSVP and save the date cards.

There are lovely print your own stationary options that require very little diy available at the shops already mentioned.

I made my own too, I've done 100 and it's cost me about £40. Really enjoyed it too. I wasn't paying £400 (as quoted) for them. X

Yep, try making your own. You'll be surprised at how easy it is. As soon as you mention "wedding", there's only one way the price is going, and that's up!

D.I.Y is probably the cheapest option - I'm very artistically challenged however; my friend from work did an art degree and has agreed to make our invites for us all we have to do is pay for the materials! Maybe you could see if you have any friends with hidden artistic talents??

Vi5taPrInt is a good plact to start and you design and make them all online and its super easy to use and not bad for pricing. I made my STD cards and got 150 for £60 roughly Thats not bad. If not, you can make them yourself. For my invitations I have a friend who is doing mine and me and my sisters are going to do our table seating cards. Just going to say if you know what you want and you can DIY it - the greatest power is in numbers my friend and start up a little working chain. x

Am making my own too, at least you know then that they're turning out how you want them, they're fairly easy to do and cost a lot less than buying them already done xxx
