yes after months of not having anything to do I am thankful I can now crack on with the last bits. ive done my suppliers contact sheet so I have all the names and numbers in case of emergency.

I think im going to ring the bridal shop tomorrow and see where the suits are at as ive heard nothing. I just cant wait to see my family

We sorted out the spare room and dining room today so much less chaos and we know what has to go to which houses to end up at the hotel.
Also been playing with the bubble machine in the garden hehe

I'm not a fan of the "wraps" that are al the rage at the moment, they just dehydrate the skin really.

I tried it once and the woman said I lost a few inches but I didn't notice anything to be honest. Found it no better than being at home and wrapping cling film. That being said I've never done that at home before lol

Last day at work for me today. Cannot wait for the time off :D

Successful couple days up in Bristol for all the final meetings! Wedding planner was great photographer was fab and had my final and only dress fitting! Just need to tuck some tulle bits in that stick out at the hips and put the bustle in and that's it!



Then found bridesmaid shoes in the jlp sale for £19! Down from £65! So pleased!!



Bridesmaid dresses fit great and going to get some little brooches for the straps to pull then into a little cap sleeve! Only thing was whilst my bridesmaids were over trying their dresses on her little girl who she'd left at her sisters fell down the stairs and broke her leg! So now she's got one older child on oxygen awaiting a transplant and one 3 yr old in a full leg cast!!! And she's 7 months pregnant! Poor woman! I won't be asking anything of her for the day!!

Waiting for one of my bridesmaids to arrive at our house with her little girl, then we're waiting in for the camera's to be delivered for the tables (so I'll be able to use them for all the bridesmaid preps we do as well) and then we have our wedding rehearsal tonight :) going out with bridesmaid and her husband after for tea. Should be a nice evening.

We visited our venue today, I have mentioned on here before that it's a school so it's usually full of tables, chairs, etc, seeing it all empty today was so different, it is huge & I've been panicking for so long that it would be to small!!
I'm kind of regretting not inviting children now, we didn't as we thought space would be an issue, but it doesn't appear to be.

We also had our church rehearsal :)
All of the wedding party went, it was so embarrassing, I giggled most of the way through it. The best man had tears in his eyes lol he will be an emotional wreck on the day!!

The vicar asked if I would be able to sit & kneel in my dress, I have no idea?? I've never tried, guess we'll find out on the day.

had a bit of a fall out with gparents the other day as they are insisting on bringing the dog to church.. it grunts all the time and I know people are allergic. I really don't want the dog there... its not even allowed in the venue so it will be in the car all day and they will just be distracted popping in and out to it, bit upsetting as hes not well anyway and he will exhaust himself trying to make sure the dog is ok and not enjoy my wedding day :(

I'm with you on the dog thing - a guest of ours told me she's bringing her dog and she's going to go out to check on him in the car throughout the day but in the middle of August when it's sweltering I think it's ridiculous personally!

they don't live near and are travelling up, the stupid dog goes everywhere with them and they don't really have anyone to have it..id rather it stay in their hotel room than the car as you say its cruel!!

We met with the DJ last night so he has an idea of what we want, we are so happy with him he is really laid back and listened to what we wanted. Can't wait!

My sister arrives on Monday, I think it will start to get real then

I'm off with my bridesmaid today; so probably won't get on here until after the wedding.... possibly after the honeymoon.

Argh! I have been playing voicemail ping pong with our registrar today, and now an 02 mast is down and I have no signal at all in my village. Have just given the ceremonies team my landline and told them I'll only be here until 5 so hurry up and ring me! Argh i wasn't expecting this bit to be stressful!

All sorted now, happy :)

Leaving home in an hour and won't return until Sunday!!

Treated myself & the bridesmaids to china white nails today, so they are all pretty for saturday.
Spent the rest of the day ironing suits, shirts, waistcoats, ties & pocket squares with the help of H2B's mum & they are now all laid out ready in her front room :)

Now home, need to hoover upstairs & pack our hotel bags ready for tomorrow.

I'm currently sitting waiting to see a gp. Ive Busted my knee and painkillers aren't taking it away, also going to ask of she can give me anything to calm me on the day I'm really worried about taking a panic attack, even though I've not had one for ages.

I have my second hair trial at 11am. My original hairdresser has pulled out as her nan is really sick and she is spending weekends going to visit her and also didn't want to leave us in the lurch if something happened just before the weeding. Her colleague is doing my hair now so no dramas with trying to find someone else.

My last bridesmaid had her final dress fitting this week and my sisters dress arrived back from NZ, so they are all sorted now except for jewellery and hair accessories.
I still need a new tiara, earrings and a necklace to go with my dress. I was going to borrow my bridesmaids tiara but it doesn't work with the dress so still looking.

We have an engagement party this afternoon for our friends, and tomorrow we have a family gathering for sil2b and her fiancés. Both families meeting for the first time. A busy weekend but not much wedding planning going on.

I also still have to sort out our third bedroom which is still full of boxes, tidy up second bedroom and give bed sheets a wash and get h2b to finish tiling the main bathroom before my family arrive in just over a week! My sister actually arrives on Monday but she is going up to Scotland and over to Belgium before coming to us. I will be heading towards london on night after work to have dinner with her before she heads north.

Still 3 weeks to go for me but glad I still have a bit of time for organising!

I feel absolutely awful this evening because we were supposed to be going to the evening reception of MrsK2B's tonight but my future SIL has ruined it well and truly.... I won't go into too many details but basically she finished work at 2pm and went missing for several hours until we finally found her about 6.30pm! As a result, by the time we got her home and we got ready/drove over, we'd never make it as I was in pyjamas/no shower/hair/make-up or anything :( We are still trying to sort her out now but I'm so angry with her because I've been excited to go/chatted for so long about our weddings that I could honestly string her up for ruining this!! I wanted to celebrate and have an enjoyable evening but no, even that gets ruined :( I just hope she forgives me because we must have cost her money/caused problems and I hate letting people down like this especially when they are expecting us. Sorry for the rant, I'm just upset :( x

I have started my sweetie jars today, trying to organise a family meal the night before the wedding as I feel like I wont see them much otherwise and for some reason cant get in touch with my mum, shes had a fall out with a family member and no one has heard from her in a few days :(

We've got packing and presents today, traveling home and BBQ tomorrow, rehearsal/family visiting/meal with friends/hennas on Thursday, venue setting up/nails/family meal on Friday then Saturday it's WEDDING DAY!!!! I really need to calm down as I'm much too excited though ;)

I am so tired today. Had to go and enrol ds at his new school and take some cheques etc to the bank. Most things are paid for now thankfully just need to do little bits but there seems t be lots of them to do.

ds goes back to school tomorrow so we are off to softplay with his wee friend and then ill sort out his uniform etc tomorrow i shall be busy sorting the favours for the kids and their activity boxes etc and putting thanks you gifts etc into bags.

Ah ladies what should I be doing this week?! Please remind me of anything I might have forgotten?! Apart from packing all the stuff up to go to Bristol and honeymoon and beautifying myself?! I'm at work til Friday afternoon now then its eyelashes and nails on Saturday.we drive up to Bristol on Sunday and that's when it all starts to come together really, pick up the men's suits. Then Monday venue decoration and us all checking into our hotels ready for Tuesday! I've emailed all my suppliers etc check they're all ok! People keep saying I'm really calm but I don't feel like I've much to do til were up in Bristol! I'm glad all you lovely ladies weddings have gone well so far!
