Hi, we made cupcakes for our Engagement party and we tried a few different recipies beforehand.
The recipie from the Good Food Guide was not only the tastiest by far but the cupcakes kept the best which meant they could be made a few days in advance without tasting like they had. The recipie says the cakes can be frozen but there were not enough left to try this out! I have put the link on my wall if anyone is interested.....hope it helps!

Email? Erm no I didn't. What about the voice recognition software?
My MIL2B was going to bake the wedding cake, but we realised that since she's due her second child in March, she'll be far too busy with a toddler and a baby to bake. Plus, she'll have an hour and a half journey with no room in the car (unless we want my SIL2B to eat it when she gets peckish, haha).
I'm making cupcakes for my hen night. I'm going to make some "romantic" cupcakes (e.g. chocolate and strawberry, chocolate and raspberry, mead and honey) and give them to my girlfriends.

Jo......on my homepage it gave me an option to 'email' you as I had a couple of questions which I presume would come up in the messages box under friend requests....I think! ha ha. If it does not come up there does anyone know where the emails go to???

Me and my sister made about 100 cupcakes for my mum's wedding last year, they went down very well! She is also making me some for my engagement party this week, I can't wait!
Very happy to say I'm now Mrs Keates and loving it!

I was going to make my own but i wanted at least 80 so i have decided to make a traditional looking cake now as it wont take so long

apparently macaroons will be the next new fad at weddings.... if you like chewy merange and almonds you will love a macaroon...dead easy to make too

we want his mum to make some just to add to the buffet but venue wont allow it... grrrrrr. the amount of money they take. It would be nice for u to make ur own cupcakes as the wedding cake. Very personal and the guests will remember them.
