Sorry I don't but would think that your travel agent would be the best place to start a search. They will be able to tell you if they do any packages etc. I think usually they are the best place to sort out all the legal side of things etc and they have someone there the other side sorting everything out for you. If you don't have a set planner it could make things very stressful for you.

Travel agent would be first port of call, they will at least give you an idea.

i looked online and spent alot of time reading different sites. Let me see if i can find the bit for it and i will post the link to your wall, if that fails ill post it to mine for you. I found it by per chance and presumed if im honest because its an EU country that i would be able to get married there. Have found the link to it and shall post it to your wall xox We're now getting married in oxford, one of my nans is almost 90 and i dont think she would handle the stress of flying and a wedding in one.

Hi, not sure if this post is still open but here goes...I am planning my wedding in Portugal for this time next year. We have a wedding planner and have been assured we can marry over there without being a resident. We have to have a civil ceremony before the religious one but thats a small price to pay in my eyes!
Gem, have you carried on planning for Portugal? If so whereabouts are you marrying? We were hoping to have the church service and reception in Carvoeiro but just found out the church is being renovated so thats out, back to the drawing board!

It's not true that you can't get married in Portugal unless you've been a resident there for 30 days. I was at a wedding in Portugal last year and that wasn't the case. You can also get married in Spain no problem. I live in Barcelona and see British couples getting married here all the time. My fiance is Portuguese but we're not getting married there. I don't know about wedding planners etc, but I can tell you that hotels in Portugal do extremely cheap packages. If you don't go through a travel agent, you would be able to do your whole wedding for next to nothing. My sister in law to be got married there and she paid less than 5 grand for a 200 people wedding and it was fantastic! If you arrange directly with the hotel, you'll pay so much less! :)
