Yay congrats! Im getting married in Aberdeenshire in 8 months now. Scary.how fast it coming round. Bokked it when I was 796 days away! Planning is going good, im making my own invites so need to get a move on. Very bloody time consuming. Lol xx have you booked anything yet? X

Wow it must seem like all that time has passed so quickly!! Ooh what are your invites like, girls? I'm trying to decide whether to make mine myself or not.. Not sure I'm crafty enough to take on that task! Let me know how you get on with it! I've booked our venue and I have my dress but that's pretty much it :) I've reserved a DJ and photographer but nothing paid off yet. Have you got much left to do?
Im Scottish, getting married in our local village hall just south of Skye on the 7th of June this year.
We are making our own, well, my H2B is making them, so I am still on edge about them until he shows me what he can make with what he has. But Im keeping my fingers crossed that he does well! lol
We just have the last few things to pay for, and then we are sorted!

I am from Glasgow but getting married in Rhu just beside Helensburgh, I cant wait.
I have a lot of things included in my package so we have Piper, table plan, name cards, Menu cards, Dj (Unless we decided on a band), Centrepieces.
We are going to look at a band in the next couple of weeks and we have also booked the Registrar Going dress shopping at the end of the month.

Yay ! Few scots in the house. Iv started making pocketfolds I bought templates from ebay and decorated it myself. X were having cadbury purple theme so again from ebay little white boxes with miniture dairy milks in. Hehe x nice n simple x

Hey, I'm from Glasgow and I'm getting married in Airth Castle just outside of Falkirk on the 26th June 2015 :) So far we have the venue and registrar booked, the dress bought, and half of the favours sorted.
We're having a scottish theme. My H2B will be wearing the royal stewart tartan and we're having everything to tie in with that.

Coral there a lots of nice blue tartans, depends what shade of blue you are looking for though. If you search for tartan finder you'll find a website where you can select a colour and it will show you all the clan tartans that are that colour :) I tried to post a link to it on your wall but your profile is restricted. If you go to your home page then go to my details section, theres a setting in there to unrestrict it.

Coral, there are really good ones such as Alberta Provincial which is light blue, Anderson Grey which is dark blue and grey and loads more!

I seem to have a Scottish theme going on it wasn't deliberate it's just happened lol. Guys in kilts thistles and things in my flowers, wedding cake with sugar craft thistles and tartan, thinking about having fudge as favours too.

Although we're both Scottish, we haven't really planned on the Scottish theme. However the guys will be in kilts and there will be thistles incorporated into their buttonholes so maybe just touching on the theme x

We are getting our wee boy christened on the same day as all of the same people will be there. I take our son to a playgroup there and they have been lovely to us, have seen pictures from my friends wedding there and they really make the place lovely. The reception in in a local bowls club, has significance to us, my h2b and I met at a bowls club, he proposed to me in a bowls club so only natural that we have the reception there xxx
