Maybe just have a word with her, say you've thought about it and would actually really like one and that if she still wants to pay for it then that would be great and you would really appreciate the help, but if not that's okay and you aren't expecting her to pay for it? That way you're not going to insult her by having one when you've told her you don't want one but then having one there, as she'll be pre-warned?

Donna hun, if you don't want them there can you not come up with a excuse like venue only allows Max X numbers. So there's not room for them. Looks like we are going to have to add another 3 on our list on ohs side, and its likely that 5 from my side won't come (there living in oz) so makes it more loop sided but already that means will mean won't add extra cost. Two of his cousins now have serious partners over 2 years living together, and have meet one of them twice in last 4 months. Also inviting his sisters partner who have been together for over a year and are moving in to there own house together (have been living with his mum up till now) in couple weeks and have meet him in several occasions an is lovely so are quite happy to invite him.

We had our flower quote through & went ahead & booked. We're getting my bouquet, 4 bridesmaid bouquets, 1 lotus wand, 9 men's buttonholes, 4 ladies buttonholes, 2 pageboy buttonholes & 3 thankyou bouquets (aqua packs) for £299, this was the cheapest quote we've had.

I'd do Mexico - Sounds incredible and every person who has married/honeymooned there have raved about it, it's amazing apparently! A cruise to Norway and Iceland is something you could always do another time as it's closer to home.. x

That's what I thought, we wouldn't take little one on that sort of cruise, but it could be an anniversary trip or something. Will have to just keep talking about it and see where we get.... we're on completely different levels anyway as I just really want to book whatever we're doing so we know it's booked... but he seems a lot more relaxed about it.

What sort of prices have you been getting for mexico Donna? I'm finding its around £1200 each for 7 nights & not much more for 14 nights. I think were going to have to leave our honeymoon till the last minute & hopefully grab a bargain!! Were planning a huge family holiday to Florida in 2016 for 3 weeks with 20 members of OH's family, so this will affect our honeymoon budget.

For the hotel we'd go to it's £2022 each at the moment..... but it has been voted one of the most romantic hotels in the world by forbes magazine and is 24 hour gourmet all inclusive, jacuzzi bath in room, butler service on the beach ect. so I think that's a brill price for what you get, I think we'd even consider paying a bit more to get a room upgrade but for the room I was looking at it was only £100 extra for both of us (£750 extra if we wanted a swim up room which would be cool lol, but once we'd jumped out of our room a couple of times I'm sure the novelty will have worn off lol)

were looking at Cyprus too just not sure what area has we haven't been before. I got a call from the travel agent yesterday saying that they had released 2015 travel dates. we just need to sort out our honeymoon budget then hopefully look at what will be avaliable to us

I've been secretly hoping to bump into an amazing florist at a wedding fayre that we can just book.... but we haven't, I did see one I loved but she wasn't local so although I would go for her if we don't find anyone else I would prefer someone local just as I'd feel safer about the flowers arriving nice and fresh

Hi just wonder if any of you can help since my last post i have booked a venue dresser. However i am now on the look out for Christmas carol singers to do a 45min set to great guests. But getting ridiculous. Quotes of 145pp plus vat can any one think of anything else i could possibly do to set the mood and tone of a Christmassy wedding while the bridal party have pics.

Really cant decide where to go on our honeymoon. I want to go to Cyprus, but my OH doesn't really like flying so wants a shorter flight. But because id got going to Cyprus in my head I just cant find anywhere else id like to go.

^ I been Kefalonia, is gorgeous! recommend Lassi resort, really quiet, best soft sandy beach on island, and only over the hill from agostolli where you there is lots of gorgeous restaurants, a bit of night life, and boat rides etc.

We don't have a budget for honeymoon either :-( we will use whatever we get as a gift towards the honeymoon if we get one. I'd love to go to st Lucia but at £4k for 10 days I doubt we will get there

Lassi is gorgeous, and if anyone goes there the towns shop is run by my ex (still good friends). You can't miss him, Australian, good looking...tell him you know Leasa and he'll see you for free ice cream your entire stay x
But on a more serious note...South of France is also not a long trip, and can be done by train. We got engaged in Monte Carlo casino but stayed up the road in menton. The whole area was spectacular! Would make for a wonderful honeymoon destination.

We are paying through the nose for transport, a Rolls for us and a Daimler for the BM's £530 and £340!
He also wants to get a old bus for guests at £500 odd. The church is a 10 min walk from the hotel venue Camden in London...

We go on holiday in two weeks so im trying to sort that all out. wedding planning is on hold for the time being. Once we come back its going to be BM dress, Coaches and flowers, then a bit later sort the guys kilts and then its just all the little bits.
