Hi everyone ,

Well I have decided to do a diary of my wedding plans and then at least when the big day does arrive I can look back and see that I have indeed got stuff sorted !
We have chosen our wedding date as 11th of July 2015 and decided it in a bit of a random way , I always wanted a Saturday wedding and fiancé wanted it out of the footy season so as we will be together 7 years next year we decided on July and the next bit is normally where my mates think I'm nuttier than normal lol We added up all houses we lived in numbers then divided by 7 and it worked out 11. something but when we checked diary and saw 11th is a Saturday we knew we found our day !

This thread might just be me waffling on and putting random stuff but it will be my countdown and diary towards the big day in which I marry my best mate :)

So far we have booked Cathedral which is St Josephs in Swansea and also for the reception we have the national waterfront museum . We are having ceremony at 2pm and decided against an actual sit down meal for now but still working on food options as we don't want to starve the guests lol

I live in Bridgend but getting married in my home town which is Barry :D
Funnily enough my OH wants full reign on the cake lol but has left everything else to me which I'm happy about haha :D
Cant wait to see more when you update it next :)
And your wedding is the day before my birthday lol :D
Oh and I almost forgot but there's a nice wedding dress shop in Swansea and mumbles, "Jayne of Allison" ;) And I can't remember which is which but one of them is an outlet store with some stunning dresses at reduced prices because they've been discontinued etc. They stock some nice designers like Maggie Sottero, Justin Alexander, Pronovias etc and the staff are really nice and helpful :)

So I went to Cardiff yesterday for the 1st dress shopping and tried a few on :) one was nice but would need to add stuff to make it what I would maybe want . I liked this one dress but didn't have the omg this is the one dress lol Whilst in another shop I witnessed a omg moment so I know my dress has to be out there !

Well actually had a weekend where H2B kept mentioning ideas for the wedding!
We have 2 choices left on save the dates and have FINALLY decided on a décor theme as we wanted colours red, white and black and maybe hint of gold but as it's July didn't want it too Christmassy or gothic style . So we have decided on rustic but where there normally is quite pastel colours we will be adding red and white roses and our colours to the style, we decided on this as it's quite back to basics as in simple yet pretty and our whole day is based on "us" and what makes us us lol

Update :) Tonight we viewed two weddings cars and booked them and paid deposit :)

Also on the weekend I found THE dress ...... only issue is nearest bridal shop that has it is about 3-4 hrs drives away lol
But we are getting there slowly :)

Well we have been busy ! Met with photographer and chosen what we want and arranged engagement shoot also we have booked suits and have received save the date magnets which we will be sending out with our Christmas cards . Also ordered cake :) will add some pics :) From the pics if you notice my fiancé tie colour that will be the colour tone of the red roses on the cake :) Also there won't be roses on the top as we will be getting toppers for there :)
