Your wedding shoes will either be hidden underneath your elaborate ‘a’ line wedding gown or fully on show if you opt for a column style dress, so necessarily, your wedding dress your be chosen before you add finishing touches like your wedding shoes.
Whichever shoes you eventually opt for though, do have a paid of comfortable shoes handy too – whilst they may look slightly inelegant during your reception, your feet will probably be killing you after a day of standing up, and comfy, slightly worn-in shoes rather than brand new wedding shoes will seem like a real treat after a tiring wedding day… especially if you’re planning to dance the night away at your reception!
Don’t pay too much attention to the colour of your wedding shoes since many businesses can dye your shoes to match the colour of your gown, changing a plain white shoe into a ivory, for example, or dying your chosen shoes to match your bridesmaids’ accent colour.
