Cheap Wedding Invitations
Your invitations are your first chance to work the wedding wow-factor — so form a fabulous first impression, and follow our super steps for stationery success!
Your wedding invitations are the first thing your guests are going to see, so it's crucial that they complement the theme, taste, and tone of your big day.
Gorgeous wedding invitations don't have to cost the earth though, and there's a wide selection of cheap wedding invitations available — it's less about expense, and more about etiquette!
Ensure you get off to a good start by following our foolproof guide to the best bridal behaviour when it comes to wedding invitations!
Your wedding invitations must always include;
- Names of the bride's parents/ hosts
- First name of the bride
- First name, surname, and title of the bridegroom
- Location of the wedding ceremony, and reception
- The date of the wedding — including day, month, and year
- RSVP address and date
What's more, the invitations should always be written in the third person, and the bride's name should always precede the grooms.
If you're struggling to find a way with words, popular phrases include 'The pleasure of your company', whilst 'The honour of your presence' is another alternative.
In general, names, times, and places should all appear on separate lines, but if you're still struggling with pre-nuptial protocol — see our examples below!
