“I am often asked 'why plus size wedding dresses?' well, I am a curvy woman and have been a bride. When I was looking for my wedding dress I noticed that there were few boutiques that catered for my size or lacked warmth when serving a plus size bride. So, I decided to make a career change and offer a personable service for women with curves. My current collection is inspired by travel and culture. I wanted to reflect creativity of life and love in a gown, so my collection is infused with colour and features delicate hand finishing.”
Kemi's approach is really popular with her brides who love not just her beautiful designs, but her approach to reflecting what looks great on real-size brides. The designer has even launched an online magazine, the UK's first plus size bridal magazine, which is available on her website along with her collections.
