Quotes for Your Wedding Day
If you’re really struggling for ways to decorate your wedding, framed prints with beautiful quotes are a great way to fill space, and can put a smile on your guests’ faces more than expensive large floral displays.
There are some really beautiful quotes you could use. You could say something short like ‘I always new it was you’ or ‘the best is yet to come.’ Be especially romantic and don’t let your other half know about the quotes!
Other longer quotes that are really special include ‘And I’d choose you, in a hundred lifetimes, in a hundred worlds, in any version of reality. I’d find you and I’d choose you.’ You can create the quote boards yourself as big or small as you may like, perhaps propped up on an easel, or you can ask your stationer for quotes for really pretty boards if it’s something they offer.
A great short poem you could use is ‘From this day forward, you shall not walk alone. My heart will be your shelter, and my arms will be your home.’
If you’d prefer to be a little unconventional, use song lyrics from your favourite bands especially during the evening like ‘I bet that you look good on the dance floor.’
If you want to quote someone famous, we love ‘Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same’ by Emily Bronte, or ‘The best thing to hold onto in life is each other’ by Audrey Hepburn.
Want to be a bit funny? How about ‘Sweet dreams are made of cheese, who am I to diss a Brie? I cheddar the world and the feta cheese, everybody’s looking for Stilton’ if you’re having a cheese table or cake!
