Fay Crundwell and future husband Alex Solomon from Oxfordshire have won a fantastic Power User prize this month courtesy of Lido Collection!
"I am a part time medical secretary and a part time swimming teacher, Alex is a painter and decorator. We first met in Alex's local pub, I had not long moved into the village and went to the pub one night with my uncle and brother," says Fay. "Alex was in there, having a drink after re-decorating the snooker room.
"He came into the bar area and we made eye contact, after a few drinks he offered to walk me home, both not realising that I had moved into the house two doors away from his. We now live together in Bampton, Oxfordshire."
"Alex proposed to me on New Year's Eve 2012/13, I was heavily pregnant with our second baby and at home ready to go to bed when Alex phoned and said stay up and wait for him to come home. He came home just before midnight and put our favourite song on which is Can You Read my Mind by the Killers. He then danced with me and got down on one knee and asked me if I would marry him!"
"The planning is very slow at the moment as with a mortgage and two kids it is very hard to save for a wedding! I haven't got a dress yet but I know what I want."
