Kirstie Gallagher is January’s Power User Prize Winner
Kirstie has won a Fine Art Painting up to the value of £500 with Cheryl Morrice.
Kirstie and her fiancé Denis Gildea are getting married on 26th May 2023.
Denis is a serving Royal Marine Commando - colour Sergeant, and Kirstie is an Employer Engagement Manager for the Royal British Legion Industries, supporting Veterans and their families into employment. They live in Devon.
“Denis Proposed on Exmouth beach on 12.02.21 . We were out walking our dog Oscar on the beach when he stopped me, pulled me close and told me I was the most amazing woman, and that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me before pulling out a beautiful ring! The sea was very rough as it was a super windy day, I said yes and smiled for a solid week after that! He cooked that night and we enjoyed a bottle of champagne to celebrate!”
“The planning process is going well at the moment. We have booked the Sidmouth Harbour Hotel for the big day and I found my dream dress last weekend.
The colour scheme is now chosen, it’s a nautical themed wedding for us. We would love to go on honeymoon to the Maldives, the only sticking point for us is the cost, but that is our dream destination”.
“I have chosen my dress, and paid the deposit which was the best feeling ever. I have decided on a Ronald Joyce gown and found it at Lara Bridal in Somerset.
I have yet to find the right shoes and jewellery, to include our wedding rings! I have still to find the right bridesmaid dresses and choose a bouquet design, I have many in mind”
