our theme is antique cream and green. we are having hearts in antique cream with green flowers and decorations in slightly different tones of green to offset it.
i have seen an awsome idea for place settings ; APPLES!
you get an apple, cut out a leaf shape and put on the guests name, and put a pin in the bottom of the leaf to attatch it to the apple.
my question is, do i use fresh green apples or do i make some wax apples? im just a bit worried about the juice from the apple spoiling the paper/card. what do you think???

loving the apple place settings, cant you fix the tags to the stalk then you wouldn't have to worry about the juices spoiling the card?

I went to a wedding last year with a similar theme, but they had pears and tied the place name to the stalk on top with a bt of string I think it was. Something so simple and effective (and they were lovely to eat later too) x

This is a pic of apples used as place names or similar but instead of tying the name tag on they have used a pearl headed pin to attach them.
