Sorry girls I'm sure lots of u have said this before but I really need to rant! How meany if u girls are getting people saying 'it's your say u should get what u want'. And then the SAME people tell u 'no u can't have it that way it's not rite'. It is sooooooooooo annoying I am hearing it all the time by various different family members and it really annoys me. I mean how can they say 'u can have what u want' they say 'no that's not rite'! It's is extreamley hypocritical. Then when I say but it's my day I want it a curtain way they tell me I am a bridezilla and un reasonable. I love planning my wedding but hate how other people are stressing me out it just feels not fair .

well I would parrot back to them when they say " no you can't do that" say well your the one who said "its your day, have what you want!" and it is and I will have it how I want it, I will include the traditions I want , exclude the ones i don't.
Met June 2009 on my Birthday,Met again July 2009 and got
together, May 2010 Moved in,Jan 2011 got pregnant,
August 2011 Got our own place, 2011 Had our Baby Girl,
Dec 2011 Got engaged, July 2015 Getting married! Yay!

Just ignore them - it IS your day! From personal experience I can tell you that people will always complain when you choose to deviate from tradition but come the actual day the complainers aways forget about any misgivings and always have an amazing time. I would suggest not telling anyone any details where possible and just planning the wedding you want.

people annoy me.

I love how weddings bring out the worst and most irritating things in people! Detect the sarcasm lol.
People I think genuinely want to support you and tell you what they think you want to hear but then can't resist dropping in what they want as if it's their wedding not yours!
That is why when I was my sister's MOH when I said to have what she and her hubby wanted I meant it and basically made it clear I am happy to listen, give some advice when asked but I will just follow instructions as I didn't want to turn the day into what my ideal wedding would be.
The number of times I just had to grit my teeth when people tried to dictate.

I got told my save the dates werent very 'wedding' a couple of days ago...... how wedding do they need to be? it had our names, followed by the date of the wedding! x
