Bridesmaids
As you will be very busy organising your perfect day you need to remember to delegate so that things don’t get on top of you, that’s where your bridesmaids come in!
Bridesmaids play an important role and the perfect bridesmaid should be supportive without being intrusive, helpful on the day, and always available for a wedding shopping spree! And of course, there’s that small matter of the hen party!
A bridesmaid’s responsibility on the day is to always make sure the bride is feeling calm and relaxed and most importantly enjoying herself. Don’t forget to ask them to make sure your guests are enjoying themselves too!
If possible try and get your bridesmaids to spend the eve of your wedding with you all together, that way you can start your celebrations early and all feel relaxed with one another the next day.
Your chief bridesmaid plays a more important role, ideally she will help you with your dress in the morning and make sure your other bridesmaids are organised. Be sure to pick someone you can rely on and trust to make decisions on your behalf so you’re not being asked numerous questions throughout the day.
For your hen night make sure your bridesmaids know what kind of 'do' you are hoping for and never, ever, hold it on the week of your wedding!
